mga paborito kong bloggers
mahilig akong magbasa ng mga blogs. para sa akin kasi, masaya ang magbasa ng mga blogs ng mga tao. parang kausap mo sila. yun nga lang binabasa mo ang nais nilang sabihin. at bilang isang blogger, hindi madaling magblog. kahit sabihin mong ikaw na ang pinaka magaling magsalita at mabulaklak ang iyong pananalita, sa blogging, ibang iba ang mundong gagalawan mo. kailangan magaling kang magsulat. kailangan intresante ang mga isusulat mo. dahil kung hindi, wala nang babalik para basahin ang mga blogs mo.
sa tinagal tagal ko nang nagbabasa ng mga blogs, nagkaroon na rin naman ako ng mga blogs na palagian kong binabasa. ito ay dahil na rin sa galing nilang magsulat at ganda ng kanilang mga isinusulat. kahit mahahaba ang mga blog nila minsan, magaan pa din para saken ang tapusing basahin ang mga sinusulat nila.

whoa!!
ang tagal ko nang hindi nagblog!! i can't believe it!!!

madame lang akong iniisip mga kapatid. take note. iniisip. hindi ginagawa. hahaha
recently, im the acting librarian for the ICS reading room.
ang lola viring nio ay nasa STATE-side. 3 buwan sia dun.
so ang lolo nio ang nakatambay sa library.
since ako ang bantay, anything goes. hahaha
goodluck sa library. hehehe
and also. merong gumugulong business idea sa utak ko.
madalas nakatulala ako at nagiisip paano ko gagawin un.
kaya ayun, ang lolo nio, hindi nakakablog ng matino.

Food planning and preparation!
Adrenaline rush! That’s what I have every time I get myself involved with food planning and preparation! It is as if I have this hidden supply of redbull combined with cobra and extra joss somewhere in my body and running in my veins!
Last Friday night was all about food. I had a great grilled meal for dinner while watching Aga Muhlach and Claudine Baretto’s Kailangan Kita, which features famous spicy food of the Bicol region. After the movie time, I browse over my newly-bought Good Housekeeping Recipe Collection Vol. 6, grabbed a pen and paper and started planning a menu.
I created a scenario in my mind… Cater to 400 pax. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Goal is to create the lowest cost menu possible and at the same time healthy, delicious and newly-cooked food. Of course, when planning a catering day, I have to simulate everything from marketing, to food preparation, to packing and serving. I have to consider the time of the meal. 7am, 12nn and 6pm and meet them. You cannot delay a meal time, you wouldn’t love facing angry and hungry clients. The meal is composed of rice, one viand, vegetable, dessert and drinks.
I started at around 10pm thinking and planning. I browsed over my collection of food magazines (Yummy, Food, Appetite, F&B) and came up with set of menu for 3 meals. Believe me, I was awake until 4am and that is WITHOUT COFFEE help!!
One thing I realized, when it is your passion to do one thing, no matter how stressing the situation can be, you can actually do it without frowning and getting irritated and end up refreshed and with a smile. And the menu? stored in my laffytop, waiting to be served. J

when destiny comes right into your doorway...
after the sleepless night i blogged about before, i talked to one friend of mine and she told me about an upcoming event. as she was telling me about it, and told me about the opportunity, my heart started beating fast, i felt like all of my blood came rushing to my face, and i almost shouted to her, I WANT THAT!!!
but, i stopped myself from saying that.
last night, i was in my room, lights off, and i was just thinking how i can do that thing i wanted the most..
i was reminded of the story in the bible about the wise builder..
this is my chance.. this is my opportunity.. and i was just thinking.. its now or never.
i hope to blog about this one when the right time comes. for now, i'll be crossing my fingers that this one will make it for me. :)
high hopes!! :)
p.s.
if only i have this passion for my thesis, i tell you, ill be able to finish that overnyt! :) hehehe

sleepless night
last night was a tough one.
as i was doing my rounds on the oval, i was already thinking about life 4 months from now.
as i start to count my options, i realized i wanted something so much.
as i go to bed, i went on thinking about that thing i wanted the most.
it kept me awake until 2 am in the morning!
then i was suddenly awaken by a dream... another dream. at around 6am..
the dream is situated in freedom park... graduation day.. my heart was pounding fast.
so fast, i have to sit and catch my breath. im so exhausted.

love me again (Piolo and Angel movie)
I watched this movie last weekend. It is disappointing. If you watched Piolo and Juday's movie, that is a better version. The film reflects the same plot and at the end.. of course.. love conquers all.

kailan nila ilalabas ang totoo na hindi na uso sa panahon ngayon ang magpakatanga sa tawag ng pag-ibig!! pag puro puso ang pinairal mo, magugutom ka talaga! i bet pag ginawan ng part two ang movie, sigurado akong namatay na ang tatay ni angel at sina angel at piolo? nakupoo.. malapit nang mamatay na tirik ang mata sa gutom!

sabi nila pag tumatanda daw ang tao.. dun sia lalong nagiisip kung ano ba talaga ang gusto nito..
hindi ko sinasabing tumatanda na ako.. (hehehe in state of denial) pero napapaisip na talaga ako kung ano ba talaga ang gusto kong gawin sa buhay.
hindi pa malinaw kung ano ba talaga ang gusto kong mangyari pero isa ang natitiyak ko ngayon..
gusto kong bumalik sa aking bayang sinilangan... PAMPANGA.

UPCAT the movie
Nanood ako ng UPCAT the movie kagabi sa NCAS Audi sa UPLB. Isa lang masasabi ko, nakarelate ako kay Lucas. Ayaw pag-aralin sa UP kasi walang pera, hindi kayang suportahan ng magulang, pero against all odds, lumaban at gumawa ng paraan para makapagtapos sa Unibersidad ng Pilipinas.
hehehe akala ng marami, masarap ang buhay ko kasi only son lang ako, pero lingid sa kaalaman ng lahat, halos igapang lang ako ng mga magulang ko ang pag-aaral ko dati sa UPLB.
Application form pa lang, pahirapan na. Kasi madami akong kailangan isubmit para sa form. Ang dameng kailangan ayusin. choices pa lang, mahirap na. nalintikan na.

Tapos exam. Paglabas ng resulta...

30th anniversary!!

i went to mass this afternoon and the homily is about Jesus walking on water. When the disciples saw him, they were afraid for they thought he is a ghost. But then again, he said to them...

But Jesus spoke to them at once.“Don’t be afraid,” he said. “Take courage. I am here!"
As we start the year, lets not forget those words spoken to us by Jesus himself. "Do not be afraid. I am here." He may not promise us a calm and peaceful year or storm-free year, but one thing He promised us. His presence. "I AM HERE."
just like Peter, most of us, will jump out of the boat and try to "walk on water" this year, let us try not to lose our focus and have more faith in HIM. after all, nothing will happen to us that is not according to his will.

when i went to my pampanga for my christmas break, i planned to watch movies. a lot of movies. but sad to say, i didn't have time to watch because i spent most of my time talking to my mom and dad and my very-few-friends-left in my province. not to mention taking care of my soon to be inaanak. hehehe
so, in short, i missed watching the movies i planned to watch.
and can you believe it, i only watched on MMFF movie last year!!
